Education at Iwaki Meisei University is conducted based on the following educational philosophy, to fulfill the purpose of education as regulated in Article 1 of Iwaki Meisei University's School Code.

1. The educational philosophy of Meisei Gakuen has as its core a spirit of "harmony", which has promoted the genesis of all nature and the origin of humanism, from kindergarten through university since the system's foundation in 1923.
2. Teachers and students are closely connected by mutual personal interaction. Their goal is promoting a platform of "health, sobriety and endeavor" with the aim of training people with a scientific mind, strong moral sense, and credence around the world.
